Pultrack

Privacy

Plain language, no surprises. This explains what data Pultrack handles and how.

Who we are

Pultrack is point-of-sale and accounting software. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

If you run Pultrack on your own computer (offline)

Your business data — items, sales, customers, balances — is stored only on your own machine. We do not receive it, see it, or have any copy of it. Backups are yours to keep; we recommend you make them regularly.

If you use Pultrack online (the hosted version)

When you create an online account we store, on our server, the information needed to run your company's books: the email and name you sign up with, your business name, and the data you enter while using it. Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed (never in plain text), and access to your company's data requires logging in. We take reasonable measures to protect the hosted service, but no system is perfectly secure — for the most sensitive setups, the fully offline desktop version keeps everything on your own hardware.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page. Questions are always welcome at [email protected].

This is a plain-language summary of how we handle data, written to be understood — not a substitute for formal legal advice. If you need a signed data-processing agreement for your jurisdiction, contact us.
